Will I have to wear a mask?
Yes. Masks are required for all attendees of the WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference, whether fully vaccinated or not, with exceptions for brief periods when actively eating or drinking. Masks are also required for everyone on public transportation and in transportation hubs (such as airports).
What happens if I forget (or lose) my mask?
WQA will make masks available for attendees who wish to wear one and do not have their own.
Are presenters and attendees screened for signs of illness?
Every individual participating in person is required to sign WQA's COVID-19 Policy & Release upon registration. All attendees will be required to undergo a quick health screening when entering the event each day.
How will you handle seating at MYLC events?
All meeting space will be set up with social distancing considerations in place.
What safety measures are taken at the Oak Brook Hills Resort?
The resort follows the COVID protocols in the Hilton CleanStay program. You can read about them here. If you are staying elsewhere, please check with the specific hotel for answers to your safety questions.
What if I feel unwell while I’m at MYLC?
Please do not come to meetings if you develop symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, shortness of breath, among others. Notify WQA staff at [email protected] and we will work with you to provide online access to key sessions.
How can I participate in the Mid-Year Leadership Conference if I cannot attend in person?
Register to attend the 2021 WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference virtually! The Wednesday breakfast and Town Hall meeting as well as the Thursday luncheon will be among the sessions offered virtually. Look for more details to come.
