Health and Safety Policy and Release

With the health and well-being of all WQA/WQRF event participants as a top priority, all attendees at the 2024 WQA Mid-Year Leadership Conference certify that they have read and agree to follow the updated Respiratory Virus Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found at https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2024/p0301-respiratory-virus.html and execute the following:

RELEASE: I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Water Quality Association (WQA), the Water Quality Research Foundation (WQRF) and their affiliates, including their respective employees, officers, directors, agents, and/or representatives, from any claim or cause of action, including all liabilities, penalties, losses, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind, arising out of or relating to exposure to COVID-19 or other respiratory viruses. I agree that the foregoing release, discharge, and covenants will apply even when WQA, WQRF or their affiliates directly or indirectly caused injury, losses, or other harm related to COVID-19 or other respiratory viruses, whether by negligent acts or omissions, and whether a COVID-19 or other respiratory virus infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any WQA or WQRF (or affiliate) program. This release is binding on my heirs, administrators, executors, successors, and assigns.
